The GQS-MPO201-SR2C performs a 4:2 electrical-to-optical (EO) and optical-to-electrical (OE) conversion:

  • Transmit Direction: Converts four input electrical lanes (53.125 Gbit/s each) into two parallel optical lanes, each transmitting at 106.25 Gbit/s.

  • Receive Direction: Converts two parallel optical input lanes (106.25 Gbit/s each) back into four output electrical lanes.

This module leverages Gigalight's proven circuit and VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) technology to ensure high reliability, long service life, and consistent performance.
