This 100G QSFP28 BiDi LR1 optical transceiver enables 100G Ethernet transmission over 10km of single-mode fiber using a single fiber strand. It operates on a single optical channel at 100Gbps, utilizing PAM4 modulation. The module performs bidirectional conversion, multiplexing four 25Gbps NRZ electrical lanes into one 100Gbps PAM4 optical signal for transmission, and demultiplexing the received optical signal back into four electrical lanes. Its electrical interface complies with the QSFP28 MSA and OIF CEI-28G-VSR specifications.
