The Innolight T-DP4CNT-N00 is a 400Gb/s QSFP-DD DR4+ optical transceiver designed for high-density, high-speed networking applications in data centers and enterprise networks. It supports transmission distances of up to 2km over single-mode fiber (SMF), making it an ideal solution for intra-data center connections.

This module converts 8x 50G PAM4 electrical lanes into 4x parallel 100G PAM4 optical lanes. It is fully compliant with the QSFP-DD MSA and the 100G-FR specification, ensuring interoperability in multi-vendor environments.

Detailed Description

The Innolight T-DP4CNT-N00 is a high-performance optical module that facilitates 400Gb/s Ethernet transmission. It operates by converting 8 channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data into 4 combined channels of parallel optical signals. Each optical lane operates at 100Gb/s (PAM4), achieving an aggregate data rate of 400Gb/s. The reverse process occurs on the receiver side.

Physical Connectivity:

• Optical: An MTP/MPO-12 connector fiber cable plugs directly into the module's receptacle. Internal guide pins ensure proper alignment. Note that the cable must not be twisted to maintain correct channel-to-channel alignment.

• Electrical: The module connects to the host board via a QSFP-DD MSA-compliant edge-type connector.

Designed in accordance with the QSFP-DD Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Type 2, this transceiver is built to withstand demanding operating conditions, including extreme temperature, humidity, and EMI interference. The integrated digital diagnostic interface provides real-time monitoring capabilities for key parameters.
