The 100G QSFP28 ER4 optical transceiver module is designed for long-distance transmission in both data communication and telecommunications applications. It complies with the 100G Ethernet transmission protocol and is also compatible with the OTN OTU4 standard.
The module integrates an internal pair of 4-channel LWDM MUX and DEMUX, with center wavelengths set at 1295.56 nm, 1300.05 nm, 1304.58 nm, and 1309.14 nm. It supports transmission over a single-mode fiber pair, achieving distances of up to 30 km without Forward Error Correction (FEC) or up to 40 km with FEC enabled.
